Map to Utopia

Twice upon time square..... (it was getting really monotonous......) there lived a small kid ...really small......... fortunately or unfortunately he had a grandfather who was poor .... i mean really poor..

The kid was also poor since he inherited all of his grandfather's properties

to add to his misery the poor kid was so poor that even his english was poor..since he could not go to a good school.... the kid used to go to a poor school ... he thought 'singa' was a 'poor' kid like him... the poor kid could not understand that singapore was a country even when his teacher was trying to teach him geography.... poor teacher

One day his teacher taught him some basic geography and about some maps ....... and told him that several times that singapore is not poor kid by a very rich country......

I think he could understand this time ..... the poor kid reliazed that all that he need was a map to Utopia ...some country like singapore....

Spatial AUTOCorrelation

My professor tried his best to teach this spatial statistics concept to me but unfortunately he could not drive the point home. After five years Ranjeet made me realize that it was as simple as chossing an apple from a basket full of only apples. For people who dont know who Ranjeet is, he is my AUTO driver.


The simple fact that how he picks up another passenger for the same source and destination as mine made me understand what spatial auto-correlation is all about.


That puts me in fix. Who is a better teacher ? my professor or Ranjeet .............


It is very simple I guess ....

who better than an Auto driver, can teach about AUTO-Correlation ?.

The day started with same old sounds ............ 

Had bath and pongal which tasted really nice ........and got ready unusally before time 

Ranjeet had other plans i guess. He came late by 20 minutes.

Somehow i reached office late as usual ...the dialy Scrum meeting was over by then ........

i tried to answer the same 3 questions to myself .....

1) what did i do before today's meeting?  nothing much as usual....

2) what will i do before the next meeting ? i will try to find the answer to the first question again i guess.

3) are there any impediments ? i guess the whole project is one big impediment ....

I started with where i left of yesterday .... install and deploy the LIC for MSTR and see the maps on the report.

I took the latest from the Subversion. The projects eclipse were still compiling ..... ah thats a relief....

Amit asked me for a architecture diagram for the LIC which is now interacting with the JCR....

Does he think i am like "arvindji" ???!!!!!!

I gave it some thought ...........went through the jars in the libs of webapps and made a diagram ....

I later realized that i put my leg in the pappu ..... 

Just went through some presentations by John and Walter ....an idea struck to my mind ...

I wrote an email to Amit saying that i will prepare a presentation on LIC for MSTR......CCed it to mamta .... now i guess they were both awe-struck !!! 

had some coffees .............. spent sometime with amit on his problem of deploying LIC ...............

Kavya ......called a few times today ...........she wanted me to come home early today to go to atta.

Left the office 1 hr early ............... tried calling up suman ....for BI gyan ....no response again...

Went to galgotias to buy some book on eclipse and tomcat ...........but found a BO book ...so bought it unhesitantly ............

Another Idea struck ... this time myself was awe-struck .... 

I started this blog.....................

I intend to write it daily ... to improve my writing skill ............................
